I'm so terribly sorry I didn't get this done before Christmas, dear :crying: I've been in an art block lately and I'm having a hard time trying to find the urge to draw.

But I finished the sketch last night and I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out :) I promised myself I would post it before new years so at least I made that deadline x) For those of you who don't know this is Sparkle's beautiful mare, Flight Angel.

Titled God's Breath because I think the winter wind is absolutely exhilarating and full of life, despite what many think. Just look at horses when it gets cold outside, they absolutely love it! It usually has the same effect on me, I love the crispness of it ^^

So, I hope you like this Sparkles, and I once again appologize for not being on time.

I like this anatomy a lot! :excited: What a gorgeous horse. Definitely one or your more realistic/my favorites. The color scheme is really flattering. All the small things like the holly and tail bow really pull your winter theme together. (Especially the cute shading on that bow!) I wish I could say I enjoyed winter, but I only like the snow and winter sports. The cold soaks my skin and gives me unpleasant goosebumps within a minute. I physically just don't feel good in the cold. Call me a wuss or whatever. :XD:

It took me a bit to figure out what accessories I'd put on her but I decided to keep it simple. I'm glad it's one of your favorites :D
Yeah, the cold isn't too fun when it's turning your fingers purple but other than that I like it x)

Hmm, I used sand with harvest gold over that and then light brown over that :) And I used various pressures on each of those, of course ^^
